About these terms
By creating an account or using FurYou you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. FurYou is operated by Whelps Animal Care & Rehabilitation Center (“Whelps”).
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.
Adoption applications
Submitting an application does not guarantee an adoption. Whelps staff review each application and may approve or reject it. Approval lets you message Whelps; it does not complete the adoption. An adoption is complete only when Whelps records it as finalized, and until then the pet stays available to other applicants.
You may have one active application at a time. You may cancel an application while it is Pending. If another applicant’s adoption of the same pet is finalized, your pending application for that pet is closed.
Everything you submit must be true and your own. Whelps may reject an application, or end an adoption process, if information is false or the pet’s welfare is at risk.
Documents and messages
Upload only JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF files up to 4 MB, and only documents you are entitled to share. Do not upload anything unlawful, harmful or unrelated to your application. Whelps may remove such content.
After adoption
Adopters are asked to provide monitoring updates about the pet’s condition so Whelps can follow up on its welfare.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no attempts to access other people’s accounts or data, no disrupting the service, no automated scraping, and no impersonating anyone.
Pet information and availability
Pet details are provided by Whelps in good faith and may change; availability can change at any time. Photos and descriptions are not a guarantee of any pet’s health or temperament.
Service and liability
The site is provided “as is”, and may be unavailable from time to time. To the extent the law allows, Whelps is not liable for losses arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
