How It Works

  1. Browse Rescued Pets

    Explore the pets available at Whelps and their verified health details.

  2. Create Your Account

    Register as an adopter to submit an adoption application.

  3. Submit Application

    Share your housing situation, income range and pet-care experience as part of the capability assessment.

  4. Whelps Reviews

    Whelps staff manually review each application. It is marked Pending, Approved or Rejected.

  5. Message & Arrange

    Messaging unlocks once your application is approved. Approval does not finalize the adoption: the pet stays available until Whelps finalizes it.

  6. Finalization & Monitoring

    After finalization the pet is recorded as adopted, and you can submit monitoring updates from My Adopted Pets.
